$META just proved it with Muse that proprietary data and distribution are KING. The next face melt comes from $RBLX where 20 years of grinding on 3D interactions, behavioral data, owned distribution, and vertically integrated infrastructure stack into an advantage NO ONE is close
Roblox games are coming to app stores!
I sat down with the Roblox Everywhere team twice to pull every detail:
standalone apps on 3rd party storefronts, browser play, what's confirmed, what isn't, and one thing they hadn't shared publicly until now! https://t.co/8FoFGinaO4
I'm watching today's keynotes and I have to embarrassingly admit something... my current $RBLX position size doesn't match my conviction. Correcting that as soon as next week (#3 -> #1). Anyone sleeping on this as a kids' game is in for a brutal awakening. Happy RDC everyone!

The Roblox Wallet is here.
And it's not just a new feature; Roblox has announced they'll be shutting down DevEx...
I went to the workshop at RDC 2026 and pulled every detail. Here's what actually launches, what doesn't, and when: https://t.co/3iFtTpjmHO
I don’t think most people grok just how meaningful and strategic the @Roblox announcements at #RDC2026 were. The Roblox community gets it. It may take some time for everyone else to catch up.
Nicely done, @Roblox

As a developer building his first Roblox title I am very bullish on the news from RDC this week, which I was fortunate enough to attend. Many kudos to @DavidBaszucki for a very smart strategy set.
I have said several times that I think Roblox can be a $1tn market cap company. Again, as a developer, what I see coming from them makes me continue to believe this. (I should note, I hold no Roblox stock directly; my investments are purely in tech / market funds.)
First, allowing me to separate my executable from the Roblox app gives me better direct control of surfaces. One of the worst parts of digital ecosystems is being at the mercy of their algorithms and discovery systems.
I may end up at the mercy of multiple algorithms and discovery systems if we end up being able to put those distributables on stores like Steam, but I would rather have more slot machine pulls at the algorithm casino than fewer.
Second, the fact that I'll be able to install directly as an app or PC distributable (see https://t.co/bCcJYzVftk) lets me resolve a core problem I have with many mobile titles on platforms like Roblox, which is users are normalized to playing a game from a Home screen icon.
If I can get a user to install my Roblox game as a Home screen icon I can drive far better retention rates.
Third, separating my app from Roblox lets me go after older users who may hesitate installing the Roblox app but are open to seeing my game as just "a game."
Fourth, being able to run in-browser is going to open up a lot of more direct ability to use Tiktok and other social media services as instant-try marketing. If we do a social media campaign with influencers who promote my game, being able to put in a link to instantly play the game reduces friction greatly.
What I see in a number of the Roblox announcements is a distinct focus on friction reduction- no need to install Roblox directly, no need to install anything directly. Just play.
“YouTuber” was the dream job of the last generation of kids.
“Roblox developer” might be the dream job of the next one.
