Join the Upper Thames Military Re-enactment Society on March 3rd as we commemorate the Battle of Longwoods which was originally fought on March 4th 1814.
We will be holding this event at Battle Hill National Historic Site (2945 Longwoods Rd, Glencoe, ON)
Packing for Longwoods. It will be a scaled back weekend with only 2 pairs of pantaloons, 2 waistcaots, 3 coats, a banyan, and a cloak. Hope I can scrape by!
- Merchant Row – merchants & artisans are selling items for purchase
- Take self guided tour through Ska-Nah-Doht Village & trails throughout Longwoods Road Conservation Area
- Visit the Resource Centre
- Poplar Hill Lions Club will be providing food for purchase

Know any kids interested in learning more about being a soldier? Come out to the Battle of Longwoods, this weekend at Longwoods Road Conservation Area.
Open 10am-4pm with mini militia taking place after the battle.
