More than half of the 115 farmers learning banana and cocoa setup from Ateego peer trainers are women. Supported by @WildeGanzen and the TRALIDE project in Nebbi, these community led practical demos reduce the local dependence on external agricultural extension workers.

Healthy harvests require healthy families. In Nebbi, the CREMOV project dialogue helped men and women link climate action with home health. Households are now building cookstoves, planting trees, and sharing roles to prevent violence and ensure better nutrition.

Protecting young women in training centers starts with culture. We joined Development Links Consult to move from policy to practice, mapping local risks and setting up clear reporting paths. This ensures every training space is secure for young women to transition

While only 10% of women in West Nile control family income, school gardens are shifting the power. Our pupils from Nyaravur primary now serve as technical advisors as they bring the skills learnt to life.

Skills based support moves families beyond survival. In 2022, Consolate Mandhawunโs farm in Nyaravur transformed through the CAM project. Adopting Narocass1 seeds boosted her harvest to 27 sacks per acre. Now, she pays school fees and plans ahead.
A weekly savings of 2,000 UGX was not enough to grow a business or plan a family future. Training and a loan helped buy five chickens and two goats, turning a small habit into a growing livestock business for Nebbi resident Achirocan Hope Flavia.

Most cocoa losses happen in the first year.
Under our TRALIDE project, farmers intercrop cocoa with bananas to reduce heat stress, protect soil moisture, and secure short term income while cocoa establishes.
Our CREMOV project helps families grow multiple crops, raise poultry, plant trees, and manage water. During a recent donor visit, the team saw real progress: latrines, balanced meals, dragon fruit fields, extra income, and shared decision making. #ClimateAction#Agriculture
