@breyabanks @bankless Sure, inflation and currency volatility is a concern. But in terms of payments, mobile money is unparalleled. In 2019, $3.5B digital loans were disbursed continent-wide. Not including the billions paid for utilities, groceries etc. The issue is the centralised nature of it all!
