This is my only takeaway from yesterday. Our form and football has been much better ever since MLS stepped into our midfield. He gives us balance, press resistance, composure, and great timing in the midfield. Whole team plays better with him in the side.

Everyone needs to relax - first poor performance since April. I’d be more concerned if we played well and got outplayed - but we just weren’t at it. Brighton deserved the 3pts but it still took two great long range strikes + us being hopeless in front of goal for them to win.

@mtah9966 Yep. Eze is clearly able to operate at this level and arguably deserves more scrutiny than Gyokeres. Need to use his P&P much more than he does - has it in absence.

Gyokeres helped us win the league last season - for that, we can all be appreciative and grateful. Is he the level we require for the long-term? No. But we’re gonna need him to do better than what he’s producing right now as the current showing is worse than last year.
