Rough game today for Arsenal. Really like Emery’s personality but not sure if he’s the right guy. Doesn’t seem like he ever has a system and the players never look comfortable. Should run a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 imho. We will know by January whether Emery stays or goes.

Haven’t seen anyone mention it and I don’t want to be super critical because I love him but what was up with Guendouzi basically passing it to watford in our own 18 twice? No one seems comfortable.

@lewlew41986 Very confusing how it can work so well in certain places and horribly in others. Same thing here is the US with MLS. For the most part VAR is a joke. Need more consistency forsure

@lewlew41986 I agree. It’s just like how they can review on penalties if the player stepped into the box before it was taken or not. Should have been reviewed and nullified. Hopefully VAR improves as years go on. Still to this day I’m not sure if I would rather have VAR or not

@lewlew41986 Heard something during the broadcast that VAR isn’t allowed to interfere on goal kicks. The announcer said that the on-field refs would have had to make the decision. And the VAR officials also said that they should have called it back and the goal shouldn’t have stood.

@ltarsenal @PainInThArsenal @FanSided I’m not sure what it would take or if it’s even possible but Julian Nagelsmann really interests me. Let Ljungberg take over for rest of season and then appoint Nagelsmann next season. But imo there should be no changes made until atleast January.

@_Susaeta This has been my thought. Why continue to call in older players that you’ve seen multiple times and know what to expect from them when you could try out younger players who maybe haven’t cracked the first team of their clubs but show potential.

@AFC_Carys Think it’s completely fair tbh. Haven’t looked like we have an actual game plan yet. 1st and 2nd halves seem to be polar opposites each game. Hope to see improvement because I like Emery but we have the talent to be better
