A very tough game at Farny in tough conditions.

Probably the best team performance for 60-75 minutes against Rose but couldn’t find the back of net.

The boys progress in the Notts cup with a strong performance. After going down 1-0 early on, Louis scored from a corner. The gaffer came on at half time and made an instant impact with 2 goals.

A lot of early chances but Ryan Attwood tapped in home after getting on the end of Joe Biltons ball across the face of the goal. We went into half time at 1-0 and wanted to get the game put to bed. More chances went a stray and the visitors got a penalty which they missed.

After a red card for Trinno, new signing Kyle Yarnell played a quick free kick to Joe Bilton as he beat his man and smashed home to make it 2-0.

A great 3 points against top of the league today at home. The boys turned up and did the ugly stuff in the tough conditions and got everything we deserved out the game.

Following comments made after our recent match against Trent Albion, the club has made the decision to release Jack Roworth from his playing role. However, the board has agreed to honor the remainder of his contract, which will consist of providing one can of deodorant per week.

A game we feel should of got more out of. Arguably the better side for the majority of the game but a couple costly mistakes saw us defeated at home. Lots of positives to take from the game but just wasn’t our day.
