The Two year olds took an early morning walk to find the perfect viewing spot for Big Boy! The Big Boy was running late so it was a good thing a picnic breakfast was packed! After chanting, “Come on, train!” Big Boy came rolling past big and loud! #wgbuzz #unionpacificbigboy

Another exciting morning on our playscape as newborn rabbits were out of their nest and stranded on the sidewalk. With a little searching and the help of a Spruce friend, we were able to return the kits to their nest. The mother returned overnight to feed them and tend the nest.

Puddle jumping is fun and necessary. Allowing children to jump in puddles lets them explore using a variety of motor actions and sensory experiences which help develop cognitive skills. And these rain suits keep us nice and dry, thanks to our wonderful Ambrose PTO.

In February, the Webster Groves City Council made a significant change to the Aquatic Center’s admission policy --they removed the requirement that non-Webster Groves residents could only access the pool if they had a Webster Groves sponsor.

If you currently are in need of financial assistance and are interested in receiving Freestyle Pool Passes (each is good for one daily admission), then please complete the form by May 14, 2021, or call your child’s counselor. The passes will be given to your child May 24 – 26
