I’m 100% sure Barca is amongst the clubs interested in him
Of course a striker that scored 36 goals in all competitions for club and country this season, won Arsenal the premier league and singlehandedly took Sweden to the World Cup will have a lot of top clubs interested in him.
This is who some low iq “Arsenal fans” want to sell.
The same player that parts of the Arsenal fanbase call
❌The worst strker in the EPL
❌The worst player at the club
❌Below EPL level
❌Trash and useless
Is somehow being chased by "top, top clubs" including UCL semi-finalists, Atletico Madrid.
I've defended Havertz many times by explaining to his naysayers how many other clubs would love to have him and respect how he plays. The same is true for Gyökeres.
The way fans see the game is fundamentally different from the way managers see the game.
In the current ultra physical M2M football atmosphere, mid-blocks are very annoying. Believe it or not, there are few strikers in Europe who can be classified as
✅Very fast to run past the last the last line
✅Very strong to absorb a ton of contact
✅Rarely injured
✅Ridiculous stamina to make repeated runs
✅Able to use the same speed and stamina to work incredibly hard out of possession (pressures, possession won in the final third, etc)
✅Unflappable mentally.
✅And great finishers.
Take Osimhen for example, who I believe is better than Gyökeres conventionally. Osimhen missed 14 games due to injury or fitness last season... Gyökeres has missed 11 games from injury or fitness HIS ENTIRE CAREER. I'd don't think most people would argue that Gyökeres is also a better finisher than Osimhen. Gyökeres is also less of a diva.
Osimhen is still better to me, but I'm just showing you how managers think. Is he average on a technical level? Yes. But there are three other facets of being a player: Physical, Tactical, Mental. Gyökeres is a physical specimen with his natural stamina reserves, his raw speed, his ability to absorb contact without getting injured, his overall fitness, etc. He was also been able to understand and implement Arteta's tactics faster than other new signings like Eze and Madueke, who needed longer. He is mentally unflappable... a mental profile most managers (and players) would dream to have.
You've been poisoned by your favourite accounts to think only a certain way, but you need to broaden your horizons.

❗️The Gyokeres + cash for Alvarez stories are not true.
Berta has never been a fan of swap deals and Arsenal value Gyokeres far too highly to entertain that sort of structure.
As things stand, the expectation is that Gyokeres remains an Arsenal player next season. It would likely take an extraordinary offer for that position to change
🚨 @FabrizioRomano: “Atletico Madrid are NOT the only club trying to understand the situation of Viktor Gyökeres - there have been top, top clubs asking about his availability. The answer from Arsenal was always that they want to keep the player.” ✅🇸🇪
@calafiorri Definitely and you never know, anything can happen in the WC even if the chance is slim. Otherwise it’s a good learning experience for them to take into future championships.
He’s a victim of his muscular physique and the misconception that he’s a “bully.”
Referees literally let opponents get away with doing anything to him.
