دزدیِ هر چیزی را دیده بودیم، اما دزدیدنِ مسئولیت حملات قهرمانانهٔ جبهه آزادی افغانستان را نه! گروهی گمنام که خود را «جبهه جمهوریت افغانستان» می‌نامد، چندین بار تصاویر عملیات‌های جبهه آزادی را بازنشر کرده و به نام خود جا زده است.

Twenty-five years have passed, yet al-Qaeda has returned to Afghanistan, emboldened and rebuilding.

Nearly 3,000 innocent people lost their lives on September 11, 2001, because terrorists sheltered in Afghanistan sought to impose their extremist ideology through mass murder.

America may have ended its war, but the war against these terrorists never ended for the people of Afghanistan. They are still resisting the same forces of terror, often alone and at tremendous cost.

Today, remember those who were murdered, and do not abandon those still fighting their killers.

We will never forget.
