@Cromwelp Chrono Trigger absolutely *blew my mind* when I rented it from Blockbuster. I thought I was about to beat Lavos (disappointingly early, I assumed) then BANG. The best narrative rug pull since Final Fantasy VI's world destruction.
@seanferrick @STShitposting So much of it felt decidedly non-Trek, though. Not just that; it felt as if it were sneering at the basic tenets that Star Trek stands for.
It's a pretty entertaining movie, and I would definitely enjoy it more if it had a different title. 😅
@nlyonne The butler in my fantasy murder mystery is heavily based on you. Amazing red hair, sailor's hat, tiny clay pipe always clenched between her teeth, and a zero tolerance for tomfoolery or shenanigans (unless she's invited!)
@clgslr How are you supposed to connect with a character without knowing their name? Names are so powerful, even monolithic ones (like the Doctor, for instance).
@books4kimberly Do people actually respond to query rejections? I mean, sure, it's not pleasant, but I thought protocol was to just move on to the next agent on your list.
