Authorised Firearms Officer for two decades. Previously worked on the Armed Response Vehicle & now a Specialist Firearms Officer within UK. Views are my own.
The two brothers who assaulted police officers at Manchester Airport will not face a third trial.
This country and the pathetic criminal justice system is broken beyond repair.
Well done to the @metpoliceuk for a swift release of the body worn video from today’s incident.
Positive action like this has been needed for years.
Top job by the officers apprehending the subject.
Watch as police officers confront a man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack in north London where two men were stabbed.
The suspect refused to show his hands, was violent and continued to pose a clear threat. Using only their training, courage and tasers, they detained him while he continued to try to attack and stab them. This took true courage.
(1/2) We are aware that three individuals connected to the Police Federation have been arrested as part of an ongoing police investigation.
This is a live matter and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.
Today the City of London Police Domestic Corruption Unit made arrests in connection with a criminal investigation into allegations of fraud made against three individuals connected to the national Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW).

I’m delighted that Alaa Abd El-Fattah has arrived in the UK and is with his family.
Alaa’s case has been a top priority for our Government and I welcome President Sisi’s granting of this pardon.
I pay tribute to Alaa’s family for their tireless determination to be reunited.
Merry Christmas to all that follow. Thank you for your continued support especially during these testing times.
To those who are working and to my other emergency service colleagues — look after each other and have a safe one.
I believe in workers’ right to strike.
But the strikes next week planned by resident doctors should not happen, they place the NHS and patients who need it in grave danger.
A fair deal is on the table. My message to doctors is simple: take it.
Absolutely staggering.
The @PFEW_HQ are taking the piss.
If the grotesque salary of this guy wasn’t enough.
He’s also taken 100% bonuses two years in a row to earn £1.4 million of Police officer’s subscriptions.
No wonder the Federation has recently increased subs by £2 p/m.
EXC: Police Federation chief Mukund Krishna was paid a “staggeringly large” £1.4m in two years - including two 100% bonuses. The organisation has still not published its 2023 or 2024 accounts https://t.co/E1YAXpcBr5
“We must overhaul how policing decisions, which are taken in split seconds, are later reviewed with the benefit of hindsight on freeze frame.”
Sir Mark Rowley MET Commissioner.
The whole system is not fit for purpose.

IOPC scraping the barrel here because everything else was NOT PROVEN.
Use of Force - Not proven
Equality & Diversity - Not proven
Discreditable Conduct - Not proven
Authority, Respect & Courtesy - Misconduct proven - Written warning.
What a waste of time & money.
A disciplinary panel has determined that a @metpoliceuk officer committed misconduct for calling a woman a 'daft cow' when arresting her during an incident in Croydon, where she was handcuffed on suspicion of fare evasion.

Now is not the time to speculate on how those rounds came to cause these further injuries.
Nor is it time to use this tragic event to drive an anti-police narrative.
Can only imagine the grief for the families who have lost loved ones. Adrian Daulby acted heroically to protect others. My sincere condolences go out to them.
I really hope the AFO’s involved are getting the full support required. This terrible event will live with them forever.
