The Maritime Strike featured the successful engagement of the decommissioned BRP Quezon (PS70) using Japan’s Type 88 Surface-to-Ship Missile System — marking its first-ever use in Exercise Balikatan and highlighting the growing interoperability and credible defense capabilities of ally and partner forces.
