The "Right on Transparency” coalition is the first of its kind: a gathering point for center-right organizations working in the transparency space.

The coalition is dedicated to the principles of open government, and, to further those principles, will draft model policies at the state level and educate the public on transparency laws and issues.
“I like to refer to this as ‘tall fences and wide gates,’” @CClemOfficial said. “Tall fences, metaphorically speaking, is about the border security piece. ‘Wide gates’... the lawful pathways that are legal ports of entry where people should be coming in"

Great job last night @maid_cj and the @AFPFNH team at their event.
When we return to the border again, you're invited @elonmusk
Good to see Elon Musk following @AFPFoundation’s lead in prioritizing seeing the #BorderCrisis first-hand to understand the problem in order to help fix the problem.
This is a crisis. We must solve it.

The Border Crisis is very really and seeing it in person really brings alive the issue.
Last month @AFPfoundation brought some NH State Reps and activists to see it first hand and learn about how this affects not only the local community but the country as a whole.
The crisis at the southern border affects all 50 states, & it’s important to get an on-the-ground look + hear directly from stakeholders. I look forward to meeting & thanking @NHNationalGuard soldiers who have bravely deployed to help keep our nation safe https://t.co/5YmLTDa7d8
On our trip with @AFPFoundation - Phil Townsend, owner of Sunland Chemical Company joined @DrewHampshire to talk about the impact immigration in Yuma Arizona has had on his agricultural business on @WFEAradio.

Former Border Chief Yuma Sector Chris Clem talking with @AFPFNH and @AFPfoundation about our border with Mexico and illegal crossings at this particular section.
US Border Control could stem the flow and consequences of illegal immigration in 2-3 days if given the infrastructure, technology, personnel and policies that they know work.
- Yuma deputy sector chief

Our policies are not humanitarian. They facilitate abuse, violence, and human trafficking. We don't have to wait for new laws. Policies matter. #BorderCrisis
Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls.
Yuma Mayor Nichols says the local hospital was short-changed by the federal government $26 billion (yes, with a B) just last year for services provided to illegal immigrants.
Other hospitals on the border have gone bankrupt serving illegal crossers.
Former Border Control Chief Chris Clem for the Yuma sector says more than 13,000 illegal crossings have been detained in the last 4 days with 4,400 getaways.
200 lbs of fentanyl were seized just yesterday.
This #BorderCrisis is having real effects on this area.
