Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, partner, and leader who made this year count. 💪🇺🇸
📈 The momentum is real.
➡️ And we’re just getting started.
From kitchen-table conversations to packed events, policy wins, and grassroots momentum, we didn’t sit this year out.
People > politics. We step up 365 days a year. EVERY YEAR.
This recap isn’t just a look back, it’s proof that when Michiganders engage, ideas turn into action.
#MichAGAIN #BringitBack
It is mind numbing that 1) this is allowed to continue and 2) that green energy mandates aren’t being repealed IMMEDIATELY to begin reverse these rate hikes.
When your energy bill is close to or higher than your house payment, that is unsustainable for the majority of Michigan families.
No, it’s not déjà vu. It just feels like the same headlines about rate hikes show up in the news once a week. That’s because rates go up, the state approves them, then the utility companies immediately ask for more.
This is EXACTLY what would go away under our energy plan.
People are sick of far-left mandates and political activism driving their monthly energy bills up over and over again.
With affordability and reliability as the primary focus, our plan would ERASE the last three years of rate hikes, freeze rates and save people hundreds every year.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: “Michigan energy providers and the residents footing the bill can’t keep up with the expensive green energy charade being pushed on us,” said Smit, R-Martin.
“Consumers and other utilities are being forced to invest in unproven technologies that are costing regular people an arm and a leg. Those same people click on the news and watch China and India dump so much crap into the air and understandably question why middle-class Michiganders are being asked to save the planet.”
@downi75@AFPMichigan Speaker Matt Hall and House Republicans continue to develop and pass real solutions benefiting Michigan Families and give us great things to discuss with listeners. Keep up the great work.
Karla Wagner is the mother of property tax abolition in Michigan
But the blocking and tackling done by other people will be what makes property tax reform happen -- if it happens

@The_Mean_One20@SenLindsey Any savings is a step in the right direction, more can be done when Democrats no longer hold the majority in the Senate and the Governor’s office.
🚨 STOP SCROLLING 🚨
Senator Jonathan Lindsey has a solid proposal for lowering utility costs that would result in immediate relief for Michigan families:
LANSING, MI | Senate Bills 986 and 987 would eliminate the sales tax on utilities like electricity and natural gas.
The senator said taking the government out of the equation will lower bills across the board.
“This is an equitable reform that benefits every single ratepayer in the state,” Lindsey said. “These bills will provide families with meaningful tax relief so they can prioritize what matters most to them and their children.”
The property taxes are too damn high

Only 42% of Americans have read the full Declaration of Independence.
It takes less than 10 minutes. This July 4th, we're asking every American to read the words that started it all.
Whitmer went from “I’m not running in 2028” to “never say never” in a matter of days.
That’s been her political formula for years: stay vague, keep the media guessing, and avoid accountability for Michigan’s results.
Meanwhile, the real story out of Mackinac is Speaker Hall and House Republicans delivering results despite ideological opposition from the Governor and Senate.
