Property tax relief is on its way!

The House just passed HB 1089 a constitutional amendment to put limits on future property tax increases by setting a levy limit. This amendment will reign in out of control local spending.

This amendment paired with Truth in Taxation will bring real relief to families across the state.

North Carolina just took another step toward protecting taxpayers.

The Senate has passed S.B. 1080 — sending a constitutional amendment to the House that would cap future state income tax increases and help keep North Carolina one of the best places to live, work, and raise a family.

Lower taxes. Stronger growth. More freedom for North Carolinians.

This debate on the NC Senate floor is insane. The left is just openly saying that North Carolinians aren't smart enough to know what's good for them because they'll support a constitutional tax cap.

North Carolinians aren't dumb, which is why they support a constitutional amendment capping our income tax at 3.5% by wide margins and will handily pass it on the ballot this November. #ncpol
