Since 2019, Wisconsin regulators have approved over $2 billion in rate hikes for utilities. Utilities are now asking for another round of residential increases. ~16% for We Energies, ~15% for WPS and requesting almost 10% for return on equity.
Meanwhile, customers fare still paying for plants that are shut down and new assets being built.
