Choose Information Inundation Wisely
The knowledge we need most is the truth and wisdom found in Jesus Christ, not the endless stream of information filling our lives. We can process only so much, and education alone does not guarantee success. The world’s “weapons of mass distraction” leave many overwhelmed with information but hungry for truth. God’s Word reveals truth, exposes lies, and puts our priorities in order.

Hos 2:23 KJV: 'And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.'
God’s mercy makes a people for Himself. Rejoice that He calls the undeserving His own and invites them to call Him God.
Author: Younger U.S. voters who embrace Sharia, socialism need more world experience
Author and commentator Larry Taunton said younger U.S. voters who embrace Sharia and socialism need more exposure to the real world and international travel. Speaking on “Washington Watch” this week, Taunton connected those political positions to an education system he said no longer teaches critical thinking skills.
Taunton said, “Students are no longer being taught how to think. They're being taught what to think.” He also warned, “They are using socialism as a Trojan horse for the penetration of American government and as a pathway to power.”
Strict interpretation of Sharia law contradicts U.S. laws on women’s rights, criminal punishment and religious freedom, while Sharia is not recognized as the legal governing authority anywhere in the United States. Government-set prices can encourage excessive demand, and if production cannot respond, shortages and long lines develop.
