Our patients have been getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit with some hands-on art activities, painting beautiful creations to celebrate the season of love! Art serves as an important cognitive exercise, helping to stimulate memory, focus, and creativity.

The Alzheimer's Family Center's patients and team members marked the Lunar New Year! 🐍 🏮 We delved into the history of the celebration, exchanged cultural customs, challenged our knowledge with trivia games, and vividly brought the celebration to life with a dragon parade. 🐲

Dementia tip of the week: help them eat a nutritious diet. For a person with dementia, a poor diet can lead to increased behavioral problems and weight loss. Try to provide a balanced diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Balance is key!
