The Equal Opportunities Section of the @AmFisheriesSoc is seeking applicants for the 2025 EOS Travel Award to support student travel to the AFS 2025 Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX during August 10-14, 2025. Applications are due April 30, 2025. See details below to apply.

EOS travel awards are approximately $500 each. Funds for an in-person meeting will not be distributed in advance; however, if this will cause a significant financial burden please reach out to the Chair.

This will provide opportunities for Indigenous people to attend an international fisheries conference, meet peers and other professionals, attend sponsored events, and broaden their horizons. Awardees will receive travel funding based on their individual need.
