Fellow Leeds fan, a veteran of Paris 75 and a survivor of multiple medical "death sentences" through hard work, guts, determination and chemotherapy.

This could be any one of you the next time you wake up with a sore throat or a slight cough, without warning, just suddenly on your way to the great terrace in the sky and little option of getting out of the turnstile queue.

I will be posting a few bits and pieces on Warwick and his life over the coming week or so, not least the superb work he has done for charity while fighting his own fight.

A part of a message received from Warwick this morning-
"My treatment starts today, triple hit of 2 chemo & 1 immuno so this is the massive brutal first hit. It could be awful or minimal side effects so honestly can’t say till weekend & see what it brings. Then it’s it’s filled by 4 more sessions 3 weeks apart. Oh what I’d give to go to LS11 again"

Warwicks done some TV interviews, newspaper interviews and has had poetry published (all for a good cause)

As a community lets give Warwick the love and support he deserves please.

The club can confirm that Don Holmes' funeral will take place on Friday, 22 August at Rawdon Crematorium. The service starts at 11.30am.
The wake will be held afterwards in the clubhouse.
