Hey guys as part of Afrotopias Exhibition that I’m currently part of in Poland, I’m delivering an Online Lecture on Storytelling & Memory in African Contemporary Art.
Tomorrow 7:00Pm EAT, find the zoom link below
It’s been a heavy time for so many artists mentally, emotionally, and financially. The cost of creating is rising, and sustaining a practice feels harder than ever.
I’m sending love to anyone feeling it. I hope this year brings you ease, opportunities, and the kind of support, emotional and material that helps you keep going.
"My style found me when I stopped chasing perfection and focused on telling honest, emotional stories."

More Installation shots of my series *Forever Is Not Ours* currently part the Afrotope show at The Ethnographic Museum of Warsaw, Poland.
My work is in the company of other pieces of 18 brilliant photographers across the continent. The curators did a phenomenal job putting the exhibition together and even included one 3D version of every artists work so that blind people can get to experience our work. There’s also headphones on the side to narrate the descriptions of the work ( Reference the third shot)
This show was put together by the Krakow photo month team and first launched during the festival July 2024. The curation team is led by Any Muhoro , Malaika Nabila & Witek Orski
The show will be up at the museum until September 14th, watch out for more exciting program updates🚀
You can find more information & pictures from the show on instagram.
We've partnered with @TheENDFund on a new lens-based project that seeks to commission work from African women and nonbinary photographers to create a new body of work that explores the impact of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) on African women & girls https://t.co/vBGgTELXGu
