We are continuing to work closely with leading blockchain security partners as the investigation progresses. According to SlowMist, the stolen funds remain in the attacker's address and have been reported to the Crypto Defense Alliance (CDA), a collaborative network that includes multiple exchanges and ecosystem partners. The address is being actively monitored across the ecosystem. In parallel, Zellic, the security firm that audited the bridge code, has also been engaged and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.

We appreciate the support from our security partners and the broader Web3 community. We remain committed to providing transparent updates as more verified information becomes available.

AFX is aware of an incident involving the AFX-operated USDC custody bridge on Arbitrum.
Upon detecting the incident, we immediately suspended bridge operations and initiated our incident response procedures. Our engineering and security teams are actively investigating the root cause in collaboration with leading blockchain security partners.
Based on our current assessment, the incident appears to be isolated to the AFX-operated custody bridge. The AFX trading infrastructure, mainnet, and the Arbitrum network itself have not been compromised.
The investigation into the exact attack vector remains ongoing. We are working with ecosystem partners, security firms, and relevant parties to trace the stolen assets, and assess the full impact.
We are committed to complete transparency and will continue providing updates as more verified information becomes available.
