Adequate, sustainable and predictable resources will be essentiel for the @adaptationfund to increase its ambition. More countries need to follow #Sweden's example and provide generous multi-year pledges to the AF to increase predictability. #climatefinance #ClimateAction #COP26

Thanks again to #Sweden for the 1st multi-year pledge to AF last year, 1/4 of which is applied to 2020. Per Olsson Fridh, Sweden's State Secretary to Minister for International Development Cooperation, said AF is very well-positioned to deliver further needed #adaptation action.

➡️But we need further increased multi-year contributions to even surpass the rather low target.
