The celebration was proof that disability is not a barrier to success and that every individual, regardless of their physical or mental challenges, can achieve their dreams.
Exactly a week ago, the International Day of People with Disabilities 2023 was celebrated in Ekiti State with great enthusiasm and fervour. The event was attended by top government officials who demonstrated a huge commitment to the community of People with Disabilities (PWD).
Today, in Ekiti State, we will be joining the world to celebrate People with Disabilities in the State.
I am excited about today and the reality it will bring tomorrow. #idpwd 2023
Children who are non-verbal may be limited in speech and language, but not in intelligence. Except in a case where intellectual disability has been established, a child with Speech Delay, with support, may do classroom tasks as much as their peers. Pretest them.

Pretest before teaching a topic. It saves time and guides you on the best approach to use.
Pretests can be done formally or informally. You can take five minutes out of your teaching time to pretest the next topic for better planning.
Good luck.
