My initial reaction to the Myles Garrett trade was, “Eh, the #Bills wouldn’t have been able to match the #Rams offer with a player like Jared Verse anyways (age + talent + contract), at least Garrett went to the NFC.”
But then the more I thought about it, I began to think, “Well how do the Rams, a Super Bowl-contending team with an MVP-level QB (just like us), continue to pull off these big trades while also having two stud receivers, a great young defense and a ton of cap space every year?” (I guess to answer my own question, the key is hitting on draft picks.)
I don’t know, it’s frustrating when the Rams are ultra-aggressive even after winning the Super Bowl just 5 years ago, but I see both sides to this discussion.
What I do know is that it’s way too nice of a day to be arguing about football on June 1.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Asheville NC after a man who tried to DRAG A WOMAN INTO THE WOODS, KIDNAP, AND BEAT HER on a hiking trail...
...has just been ALLOWED TO LEAVE JAIL ON A $5,000 BOND!!!
Dillon Curtis has been arrested 15 TIMES before... INCLUDING a 2ND DEGREE KIDNAPPING charge from last July
...for which a judge ALSO let him walk on $4,500 bond.
According to the police report, Dillon followed Emily to her car, where he shoved her and tried to hit her.
She began calling 911 and he tried ripping her PHONE out of her hand while she was calling 911.
He threatened, in his own words, to "KNOCK HER OUT AND DRAG HER INTO THE WOODS."
Then two mountain bikers, Harvest and Trevor, drove up and the guy ran off.
Emily is alive because of those two strangers.
Please understand...a man already on bond for FELONY KIDNAPPING tried to kidnap a woman off an Asheville trail...
...and was charged with only FOUR MISDEMEANORS.
Bond: $5,000.
He will be out and terrorizing more women soon.

NEW: Man with a life sentence who was granted clemency by Trump in 2021, has turned his life around and is graduating from SMU.
Chris Young is graduating with degrees in economics and public policy.
Young spent a decade in prison after being arrested for the third time for drugs.
He was handed two life sentences with no possibility of parole under the "three strikes and you’re out" sentencing law.
Just five years after being granted clemency by President Trump, Young is set to graduate college.
My dad was a bus driver for 23 years. Same route, 5AM-1PM, every weekday. He never talked about work at home.
When he died, we got a package at the house. No return address. Inside was a shoebox full of letters and one note:
“Open these when you’re ready to understand your dad”
This is a shocking reminder of why you can never let your guard down, even when dealing with retail employees at a major service provider.
In a disturbing breach of trust, a Metro by T-Mobile store associate took advantage of a customer who was simply trying to upgrade a phone. While pretending to assist with the device and transfer data, the worker took the customer’s unlocked phone and secretly opened their Cash App.
The employee successfully transferred $400 directly to her own account. Greedy for more, she immediately tried to drain another $500. Fortunately, the bank flagged the second back-to-back transaction as highly suspicious and denied the transfer, stopping the theft from escalating. Police were called to the scene, and bodycam footage captured the investigation that ultimately exposed the employee’s pattern of predatory behavior.
This incident serves as a massive wake-up call for everyone. Your phone is your digital wallet, and handing it over to anyone—even a retail worker in uniform—comes with severe risks.
To protect your money and your identity, always follow these critical security steps:
1. Enable a security lock (Face ID, fingerprint, or a strict PIN) explicitly for all financial apps like Cash App, Venmo, and mobile banking. Even if your phone is unlocked, the apps themselves should require a separate login.
2. Never give your phone’s master passcode to a retail employee. They do not need it to activate a device.
3. Log out of your financial and password-manager apps before handing your phone over for tech support.
4. Watch the employee like a hawk. If they need to take your phone to a back room, tell them you prefer the work be done right in front of you.
Don't let a routine errand turn into a financial nightmare. Stay vigilant and lock your data.

If he slides that puck over to Benson as Noah Dobson is starting to slide this series 100% ends. Easy goal for Benson. Tage made up his mind before he was toe dragging that play. This is the hardest to watch replay of anything this game, even the Montreal OT goal that came after
a non reviewed kicked in goal and a garbage quick whistle are what killed the #Sabres tonight. The 2 biggest plays of the night are failed officiating. @NHL
Indian Sikh’s are allowed to carry ‘religious daggers’ & women aren’t even allowed to carry pepper spray in Australia.
A Sikh used his ‘religious dagger’ to stab an Aussie woman 26 times & cut her throat in Cairns, Far North Queensland.
The next morning her dad found her body in a shallow grave 800 metres from her car & her dog tied to a tree.
The Indian fled to India & has only recently been jailed years later.

Meet Dr Keith Wolverton, a genial British GP working in urgent care. During a consultation at a walk-in centre in Staffordshire, he asked a Muslim woman to remove her niqab because he had difficulty hearing her explain her young daughter’s symptoms. He cited issues with her English and the need to see her mouth movements for clear communication and proper diagnosis. She initially refused on religious grounds but eventually complied.
After her daughter received treatment and recovered, the thankless woman filed a complained that she felt “victimised and racially discriminated against.”
CONSEQUENCES: A Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing found the doctor guilty of misconduct. He was initially suspended for 9 months. In 2026, Dr Wolverton was struck off the medical register (effectively sacked/banned from practising). All because he was concerned about the health of a child.
A regular player (non-goaltender) cannot legally fall on, hold, or cover the puck with their hands in the crease or anywhere else. Doing so results in a minor penalty for delay of game, or a penalty shot if it occurs inside the goal crease to prevent a scoring
