Suicide prevention awareness campaign was addressed and Ideas were shared.
The children were encouraged and parents were excited with the campaign.
They also engaged in memory games, dance, activities, arts and coloring, etc.
The FAFL (Fine Art Find Life) Community Teen Summit on Suicide Prevention at Woodlawn High School which held on the 5th of November 2022.
‘A Friend of Mind’ was invited as one of the resource partners and volunteers.
…“Our table is the busiest here.” That was a suitable remark and positive feedback for the goal of A friend of Mind. We are looking forward to capturing the hearts of many teens and helping them build a strong will in suicide prevention and to be aware of the impact.
Today is the end of July and the end of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month this year. A Friend of Mind acknowledges that identifying as a minority means you are identified with a multitude of different experiences and traits.
