@Antapothanae@Zayking420@benshapiro Nice try, but false. Israel has fought one of the most focused and controlled urban wars in human history against a foe who uses war crimes as their modus operandi, including civilians and critical infrastructure as cover.
@FloydLuther1@RepThomasMassie Yes. I oppose those things. Carlson and Fuentes are both economic interventionists. Tucker has proposed banning self driving cars on the basis that it would eliminate jobs, regardless of the fact that it would be cheaper, safer and more efficient.
@exline_m45026@elonmusk Completely unrelated. Poor people and societies tend to have more kids than rich ones. We're spoiled and selfish. Kids are hard and require personal sacrifices.
@AllThingsBron@TheDunkCentral@finleykuehl Julie Tetart wants to play in the WNBA. And protecting women means being proactive to preserve fairness and opportunity. Obviously.
@DisillusionedHQ@2AKyle@benshapiro The controversial point of the video was the suggestion to give young people extra votes because they know better than parents what's best for the future of the country.
Ben debates students on campus to elucidate a mainstream viewpoint that isn't usually taught in college.
@FTFonFS1@getnickwright He's making less than $4 million on a team that was already looking strong. And he was worth far more than that money last year. Suggesting it'd be better if he retired is a bad take.
@DisillusionedHQ@2AKyle@benshapiro It's not a different issue. Ben was usually debating against viewpoints put into kids' heads by activist teachers. One of the reasons for those debates is that universities have become activist factories.
@RepThomasMassie The smart thing would have been for Congress to vote for military action so we could have gone all-in with overwhelming force and wrapped up quickly. Instead, we fell into the usual trap of half-measures.
@justinamash Trump was wrong to go in without congressional approval. It's too bad congress is too naive to see that it needed to happen. No other nation would be more likely to actually use nukes if they got them.
@JamesMarcello6@KurtAGreiner@justinamash@nytimes@washingtonpost@WSJ More like Israel is the lone besieged outpost of western liberalism in the region since the fall of Lebanon. People used to complain that Israel was a western colonial outpost in the Arab Muslim M.E. Now they're supposedly secretly running the world? People are so stupid.
@TrashyT42069@Magnus_9_IOI@archeohistories Many of us do watch documentaries. Which is why it's annoying to see obviously out of place elements in movies like this. Instead of throwing a bone to history buffs and educating people, they're pandering to the uninformed and reinforcing false perceptions.
@grindiingnoob@Cappyarmy That's short-sighted. A nuclear armed terrorist regime in Iran is a much more significant danger to the US than Russia or North Korea. Our Congress should have voted for war and then we should have gone all-in to take out the mullocracy for good. The problem is the half-measures.
@SteveSmithskt8@X_CommentR3ader So every time ordinance is launched you call that a battle? I think I'd set a higher bar. People might not take you seriously if you go around calling things like this a lost battle.
@baldie267@histories_arch Movies based on respected works like The Odyssey would do well to respect the subject material. If I see things I recognize from history books and archaeology articles, I'm much more engaged than if it looks like a Marvel comics adaptation.
@_ChaoticGood42@justinamash Maybe it would've been better if it hadn't been called The Odyssey or pretended to be set in historical Greece. The promo material makes me think Marvel's Odyssey. Does Thor ever show up?
@BoKnowsBall_@RepThomasMassie Yep. I loved Massie when he was focused on championing small govt and free markets, but he let politics get personal. His foreign policy stances were always short-sighted, idealistic foolishness. Now they're straight up self-destructive insanity.
