@FrankiLoveMusic In my era is was AM radio, which was diverse and interesting in the ‘60s. My mother had a console stereo and played rock-n- roll (50s era, plus Beatles) and my father played older country (Porter Waggoner). My mother derided FM as “elevator music” in the ‘60s.
@rickyricksmusic I had a major crush on her at age 7 due to her “Boots” hit. And I think I remember her TV specials. I did not realize who her father was until the ‘70s, and it wasn’t until the ‘80s that my tastes had gotten sophisticated enough to become a fan of her father also.
@cat_yawns Freda, who I call Kitty Kitty, is always trying to tell me something, but I have no idea what she’s saying. I don’t have this problem with the other cats.
@my6girls2012@rickyricksmusic Somehow mine got water-damaged. I kept it in the basement, and when I took it out of the camera bag, it had a lot of mold on it. So I donated it to Goodwill.
@EVargasTV All sorts of reactionary crap has been popping up in my feed for over a month, usually under the rubric of “business personalities” or “tech entrepreneurs,” urging me to “follow for more.”
@rickyricksmusic I am now! We were invited over to a neighbor’s for dinner in the mid-60s. The mother was from Poland, and she made them. Being a kid, I didn’t like them, which I have forever regretted.
