Zara Larsson has just won her fifth GRAMMIS (the Swedish Grammy, the country’s biggest music award) with ‘Midnight Sun’ in the ‘Best Pop Album’ category. The singer’s mother, Agnetha Larsson, accepted the award on her behalf.
“Hi everyone! My name is Agnetha and I’m Zara’s mom. I’m here because Zara couldn’t come to receive the award in person, she’s in Los Angeles living her dream. She’s very grateful and extremely proud and humbled by this award. And I’d like to say something to all of you who are here for the first time: She released her first song when she was 15 years old, and that was 13 years ago. She’s had this dream her whole life. So to everyone here for the first time, and to all the others too: Live your dream, do what you want, and fight until the end. It took her 13 years, but now she’s where she always dreamed of being.”
