@BBSimons The issue raised with competitiveness & profitability is not always true since Islamic products are mostly backed by collateral and investments in real assets and isn’t for everyone, easy to get a car note from a conventional bank than an Ijarah/Murabaha. This reduces risk

@KafuiDey It’s not that landlords are wicked but a rental property is an asset class, how do you de risk it from late payments and no payments at all? The banks have different ways to charge fees for defaulting on payments but how can a landlord do it when tenants default.
