1948 was a big year in Ashland. The new Memorial Stadium was dedicated to those who sacrificed all in WWII, and the Blue Janes Pep Club raised $342 to purchase a new electric scoreboard for basketball. Someone tell me that beauty is still intact somewhere?!?
