6) Ronald Williams and Wayland Bryant of the Alabama Black liberation front (ABLF) rose to prominence because they organized around the forced eviction of a domestic worker named Bernice Turner in the 1970’s.
I’ve added a new page to the website that includes all the books (and historians) that have been influential in my research and decision to pursue my work! https://t.co/sYxG3ulqCh
I’ve come to the Olympic Peninsula to get some work done. In the next few weeks, I’ll work on outreach for the site, create a detailed timeline of Ronnie’s life, collect oral histories & go through family photo albums in search of photos I’ve never seen, like this one.
Welcome to A Grandfather’s Legacy Project! The mission is to share Ronald Williams’s legacy through research, preservation & storytelling. The website will serve as an accessible hub of information relating to Williams & the Alabama Black Liberation Front https://t.co/P1LaKTr0E1
