MEET THE CREATORS WHO WORKED ON OUR AFROFUTURISTIC COMIC, "CANCELED"

@AGOGHOFRANKLIN is an award winning writer who writes comics, prose, poetry and film scritps. In 2016, he was laureate of the first ever national short story Prize for young writers organized by Cameroon's Ministry of Arts and Culture. Apart from publishing a poetry collection and several short stories on digital literary magazines, he has created and written several comics published by Zebra Comics Plc/Sa like Totem, Kawana, The Sting and Cancelled, amongst others.

Ahmey Graphen is a talented comics illustrator who has done some industry defining work with Zebra Comics PLC. Before working on Cancelled, he worked on Zebra Comics IPs like The Nokoid. Currently, he is working on many other projects which will be revealed soon.

MINK Studio-arti is a genius of colours. Anything he applies his colours to become so vibrant that they practically come to life. For Zebra Comics, Minko has coloured several webcomics like The Sting, Jemiro and Brotherhood: A Nsanakang story, amongs many others.

He is a very talented letterer who has worked on so many IPs on the Zebra Comics platform. DC COMICS COLLABORATES WITH ZEBRA COMICS TO CREATE THE FIRST EVER AFRICAN JOKER!

Yes, you heard that right!

@DCOfficial , part of Warner Bros. Discovery and one of the world's largest publishers of comics and graphic novels, has collaborated with Zebra Comics PLC to co-create and develop a story for DC's upcoming anthology, JOKER: THE WORLD.

Zebra Comics creators Ejob Gaius (story), Maître Show officiel (illustrations), and E.N. Ejob (colours, lettering and cover) created a unique story titled "Black Therapy" which is part of the aforementioned anthology. This is the first ever African version of the Joker, created by African creators.

Added to this, Zebra Comics has secured the rights to publish JOKER: THE WORLD on the Zebra Comics app and website on September 17, 2024. This is a collaboration that, we believe, is a first in many more to come.
