With Bryce Young out with a 10-second flu bug, veteran Matthew Stafford stepped in for the Panthers in week 1 against the rival Bucs.

Stafford magically turned back the clock, leading the team to a 62-35 scorefest with 5 TDs and over 400 yards.

Crazy times.

Defense! Playing their best game of the season after the Brock Bro tour, the D had their best game of the season, giving Panther fans hope the team can actually contend with more than a one-score win for the first time. A big win streak, but nemesis Oracra is on tap. #ags4pc

Brock Bro #4: Trigga. Behind for the majority of this game, the D finally realized once JT activated Freight Train down 17-0 that it was time to do something - and they did, inexplicably playing shutdown D the rest of the way. Offense does just enough for the W. #ags4pc

Brock Bro #3: G. As usual, G’s offense took it to us, as Mike Evans would be in the hall of fame if he got to play the Panther D every week, getting a cooldown as he shred us. But we kept the Bucs out of the end zone more or less for a change - enough to get the dub. #ags4pc

Two in a row! Brock Bro Parker was out for revenge for coach Jo’s loss, but Ronny Riddle showed he can have games in the rain where he doesn’t look like he’s throwing with his eyes closed. The triumvirate of Brock Bros continue next with a rematch against coach G. #ags4pc

A win! It was close, but this one was critical to give us hope for the season. A hot start had the team breathing a little too easy as the explosive Falcon offense turned it up in the 2nd half and almost took the win, but we held on. A needed positive step. #ags4pc

Rock bottom. Rationalizing we were going up against a fellow 5-win team from last year, we were instead greeted by the top-3 coach caliber gameplay in Aphetto that was absent last year. The Bears squad was as dominant as we’ve come to expect an Aphetto team to be. GL NFC #ags4pc

Ugh. Well, there was D in this one! Just only for one team. The Saints show why Soup and his unique defensive adjustments are sought after in coaching circles, as he completely shuts down the Panthers D, making Riddle seem like an absolute bust. Huge morale hit. #ags4pc

It continues. Panthers make it a game, but Mustang is the latest coach to crush our (lack of) defense, slicing through the young try-hards like butter. Now to our fellow boomer Aphetto, who unlike us is having a huge resurgence in Season 2 - but we need a W. #ags4pc

A promising start! Despite some strategically-placed ‘fans’ from various cities trying to imitate the sound of a lumbering tank, rookie QB Ronny Riddle was unfazed as he led his team to victory.

Nail in the coffin. The defense continues to struggle after their epic outburst against the juggernaut Ravens, completely gashed by the Bucs run game. While Jimmy G has his moments, he is not well equipped to compete in shootouts, and Panthers lose third straight. Sigh #ags4pc

Crushing defeat. Maloney, enraged he didn’t get an OG T-shirt and wanting to make Gom pay for telling a newspaper the Steelers wouldn’t make the playoffs, brought his A-game and pummelled us senseless. This one hurts - a win and we probably make playoffs. But now… #ags4pc

Retribution!. Seahawk players were seen taking longing glances at Coach Gom on the Panther sidelines, tears on their eyes. Unsurprisingly, their hearts were not in the game, besides DK, who afterwards dedicated his performance to Gom.

A just defeat. After upsetting the Ravens, next was the #1 Broncos, but the lucky charm got used up. Schwartz gets a fluke tipped td and then the refs even it up by denying him one. 3 early picks by the D wasted - Brock pwned us the rest of the way. Time for a bye! #ags4pc

Shocker! The behemoth Ravens hosted our struggling group and despite all odds, victory was achieved. The defense gets all the credit for this one, getting into Lamar’s head to force coach Pax to be a 2-time member in the 9 int club. You’re welcome, world! #ags4pc
