“At this point, we can all agree that the government are the band!ts and k!dnapp£r. Bandits dey pass, security operatives/Police dey wave at them dey greet them… sheik Gumi was right after, he once said that the government knows all the b@nd!ts by name and face that anytime he’s going to meet the b@nd!ts, he usually goes with security operatives”

Senators in Akpabio's absence issued an Arrest Warrant for Mele Kyari...
Akpabio came into the picture and reversed the warrant, while calling the case of 210 Trillion naira theft from NNPC, a distraction!
Now you know your enemies.
I've been thinking about something.
Through the Olympiads, Maths Quizzes, and competitions we run, we come across some exceptionally brilliant children. Not just students who score high once, but young people who consistently demonstrate extraordinary problem-solving ability.
What if companies could identify and invest in these students early?
Not as charity.
As talent investment.
Imagine a company picking a brilliant 14 or 15-year-old student, funding their education, providing mentorship, laptops, internships, exposure, and opportunities throughout secondary school and university.
In return, the student gains a clear pathway into a career, while the company gets early access to exceptional talent. We can all agree that finding exceptional talents is high, and with an early investment a company can access this privilege.
We do this for sports.
We do this for entertainment.
Why don't we do it for intellectual talent?
Some of these children will become future engineers, scientists, founders, researchers, and innovators. The challenge is that many brilliant young people never get the support they need at the stage when it matters most.
Perhaps we need to start thinking about academic talent the same way the world thinks about football talent.
Does this make sense?
BREAKING: We’ve given Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas seven days to ensure that members of the Senate and House of Representatives refund and return to the public treasury all monies, allowances, and benefits derived from the N110 billion vehicle procurement and support allowance schemes declared unlawful by the Federal High Court.
We urged Mr Akpabio, Mr Abbas and the National Assembly to immediately establish effective mechanisms to ensure that all future procurements and expenditure of public funds comply strictly with due process requirements and are guided by the principles of transparency, accountability and value for money.
We also urged them to institutionalise public hearings on the lawmakers’ budget during every budget cycle and proactively publish the National Assembly’s detailed budgetary and expenditure information to enhance transparency, strengthen public confidence, and promote meaningful public participation in the budgeting process.
The requests followed the judgment of the Federal High Court in Lagos, delivered by Justice Yellim Bogoro in Suit No. FHC/L/CS/1606/2023, which found that the spending of N40 billion on 465 vehicles for lawmakers and N70 billion in support allowances for newly elected members breached procurement laws, constitutional obligations, and the public trust.
Flowing from Justice Bogoro’s judgment, there must be consequences and full restitution for the lawmakers’ failure to comply with their constitutional and statutory obligations, particularly in relation to the unlawful expenditure of the N110 billion, as found by the Court.
Allowing lawmakers to retain benefits derived from unlawful and unconstitutional expenditure would be entirely inconsistent with the constitutional duty to abolish corrupt practices and abuse of power and would undermine public confidence in democratic institutions.
No public official should be permitted to retain benefits obtained through conduct that has been judicially determined to be unlawful and unconstitutional. Restitution is necessary to uphold the rule of law, restore public trust, and ensure accountability for violations of constitutional and statutory duties.
