Update on my earlier tweets. So it seems the reason they ‘can’t’ refund is because @ubereats_uk policies breach the UK Consumer Act 2015 @TradeStandards
@thehillycity@ubereats_uk I think this is their standard response. It would be interesting to find out if it’s just feedback they’re giving the restaurants or if they’re being withheld funds that aren’t being passed onto the customer.
@jordanfriday93@ubereats_uk You used to be able to have live chat with them when something wasn’t right but it’s a very automated now. Their customer care is non-existent.
@jordanfriday93@ubereats_uk The food being cold was bad enough but the restaurant also forgot to add the sauce the noodles were meant to be served in. That was frustrating but Ubers response is infuriating!
