PMG Client Aaron Gethers Signs with Jacksonville Sharks, Continuing Professional Football Journey

@PrinceMgmtGroup (PMG) proudly announces that client Aaron Gethers, former defensive back at @bcfootball, has signed with the @jaxsharks of the @indoorfootballleague. This marks a key step in his pursuit of his Dream Job, playing in the @nfl

A proven leader on and off the field, @AGethers_2 brings athleticism, football IQ, and discipline to the Sharks. His collegiate journey includes the University of Maine, Western Carolina University, Catawba College, and Boston College, where he consistently demonstrated resilience and adaptability.

During the 2020–21 season at Western Carolina, Gethers played in all nine games with eight starts, totaling 24 tackles, 14 solo stops, five pass breakups, and an interception, recording a tackle in every game. He earned Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll recognition for his performance on and off the field.

At the @UMaine, Gethers posted a 3.3 GPA, earned Dean’s List honors in 2023, and served as Team Captain, reinforcing his leadership and accountability.

“Aaron has the skillset to play in the NFL, and this is a stepping stone toward that goal,” said @TheMainePrince, CEO of Prince Management Group. “There’s only one way to eat an elephant—one bite at a time. This is that one bite, playing for the Jacksonville Sharks and Head Coach Jason Gibson.”

Gethers (Spring '21 - Theta Lambda) also carries a legacy as a member of @OfficialOPPF. His father, Brother Ivory Gethers (Spring '89 - Nu Chapter), is a member of Iota Lambda Lambda and a Nu Chapter initiate at @pennstate University, a former linebacker at @psufootballproud and @psuflc , who was invited to participate in the Houston Oilers rookie minicamp, and a @cfl player with the @sskroughriders.

A former standout at Bishop McDevitt High School, Gethers was ranked the No. 2 cornerback in Pennsylvania and a top-25 prospect, earning all-conference honors and leading his team to a state quarterfinal.

Gethers is expected to make his debut this Friday, April 17, as the Sharks face the Orlando Pirates in @explorejacksonville, Florida. Home of the @jaguars.
