@LifeisB21746292 The way you act like you care about Eritreans, cut the shit. Ethiopia has enough slaughters and blood shed, and so many Ethiopian migrants, a government that bombs its own people with drones, and you're here talking about Eritreans. Well guess what, no port no sea for you 😉😂

International law is non-negotiable. 🇪🇷

Even prominent analysts like @martinplaut —often critical of the Eritrean government—agree on this undeniable fact:
Eritrea’s borders and sovereignty are legally settled.

Key facts confirmed by international law:
📌 Clear Borders: The Eritrea-Ethiopia border was demarcated by the International Boundary Commission in 2002.
📌 Territorial Integrity: The Port of Assab and all coastal waters belong strictly to Eritrea.
📌 Commercial vs. Naval: Eritrea has consistently offered peaceful commercial port access, but sovereign territory cannot be ceded to host a foreign navy.

Landlocked status does not give any nation the right to undermine its neighbors' sovereignty. Respect international law and border agreements.

@Peacefirst2 @SirakBahlbi Your account name and your mouth contradict

[Abit Ghere @AGhere]

@Tomaz394169 @SirakBahlbi There is no legal claim about that so stop making it up. Also, we have established through blood and declarations that Eritrea is a sovereign country over and over again after that. It should be about time that you and your masters wake up from this stupid dream of yours.

[Abit Ghere @AGhere]

@Aman74839942 @SirakBahlbi @SecRubio @StateDept Wow...people choose to be dumb like this? Dagi wake up!!! and listen to your own government and maybe reread everything, before you embarrass yourself like this.

Foreign Minister Osman Saleh gave, today, a briefing on Ethiopia's unprovoked acts of aggression and its geopolitical ambitions to the Diplomatic Community in Asmara.

In his extensive briefing, FM Osman elaborated, with substantive details and evidences:
- the Ethiopian regime's repetitive and provocative pronouncements - by senior Prosperity Party political and military officials - for three long years on their belligerent strategy for acquiring "sovereign access to the sea";
- these ambitions and accompanied saber-rattling constituted a declaration of war against Eritrea in flagrant breach of the UN Charter and relevant provisions that prohibit the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity and political independence of any UN Member State;
- the Prosperity Party regime continued to provide sanctuary, as well as military and logistical support, to an assortment of inconsequential opposition groups;
- the regime was further engaged in proxy military activities that fuel regional conflicts and exacerbate instability in the Horn of Africa.

We checked 8 more claims about Eritrea from this week

[Abit Ghere @AGhere]

@Meconneno It looks like they are receiving the gift for themselves and then decided to use it for fake news too. These people are masters when it comes to staging lies, it's their specialty.

[Yemane G. Meskel 🇪🇷 @hawelti]

In his address to the House of Peoples Representatives on 28 October 2025, the PP's leader proclaimed: "We did not start building our Navy five years ago (in 2020) to make it float in a small pool of water".

Inflammatory declaration of war in what they have termed as "projection of naval power with jurisdiction in Eritrea's southern coastal zone".

This wicked war agenda was conceived against the backdrop, and in the immediate aftermath, of the 2018 historic Agreement of Peace and Friendship between the two countries..

Smoking gun that illustrates, beyond any shred of doubt, that the war agenda was long planned by the Potemkin Party whose hallmark remains trite Machiavellian and backstabbing political traits.

[Yohannes ወያናይ @Yohannes_T_M]

For those of you who blame the Tigray Defence Forces (TDF) for “bringing” the war to Tigray, here is @reda_getachew in 2021 clearly outlining Abiy’s plan for a war with #Etitra - a plan we are now witnessing unfold.

[Berhane @EmbassyEritrea]

It must be clearly stated that #Ethiopia - since its inception as a country has never, at any point in history, possessed sovereign access to the #RedSea. The only time it used Eritrean ports was during its illegal #occupation of Eritrea - an occupation rejected by the Eritrean people and defeated through a 30-year protracted struggle for #independence. Eritrea’s #sovereignty and territorial integrity was achieved through enormous sacrifice and is not subject for any negotiation or revision. Any attempt by Ethiopia’s current PP leadership to lay claim to Eritrean land or ports like Assab or any other place for that matter, is not only historically false but also an open violation of international law and the 1963 OAU principle that upholds colonial boundaries. Such reckless rhetoric serves only to destabilize the region and expose the aggressor nature of those who utter it. Eritrea’s sovereignty is not a topic for debate; it is a settled and irreversible reality.

Congressmen Brad Sherman ranking member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee short & bold message to Ethiopia 🇪🇹 about port.The fact that Even a man who advocates sanctions on Eritrea for many yrs has to say this, it shows how out of touch those PPs goons are 😂🤡

"A nation is its people, the sovereign architects chosen from antiquity. They are the supreme guardians and eternal shield, whose unyielding unity and resilience guarantee the sacred independence and enduring freedom of Eritrea."

[Feven Yemane @FevenYemaney]

Ethiopia’s communication to the UN Security Council frames its actions as self-defense. Yet public statements by Ethiopian officials about securing sovereign access to the #RedSea “by force if necessary,” including references to #Assab , go back several years.

[Yemane G. Meskel 🇪🇷 @hawelti]

Potemkin Party's broken gramophone continues to play the same stale chorus!

Today, it is the turn of Ethiopia's Commander of the Air Force to brazenly declare the impending invasion of Assab; oblivious that this pronouncement constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter on the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity of a UN Member State.

In some ways, these statements increasingly look as mandatory rituals of allegiance to the PP's agenda of war and conflict by the Army's top brass.
