on the day i unofficially decided that i wanted to draw every single day i had to return to the core reason that started my passion.
I’ve been “art blocked” for a long ass time and this is the first time in years that I’ve drawn every single day for a month straight.
it reminded me of how i was when i was a kid. I wanted to get that “ease” back of creating.
everybody has a different story and i don’t want to bore you with mine, but this challenge helped me to return back to myself in a way.
i am trying to let go of being too critical of my art even if it has mistakes because otherwise I will fall into hating everything I make and never draw (which is what kinda happened). art isn’t about that.
I don’t know if I will continue yet, but I am kinda tired
My recent memories became like Swiss cheese
My hippocampus was broken and I got medical treatment for months
I think now I am at the 'Acceptance' stage
(the five stages of Grief)
Time to rehabilitate and get back🦿
