As we come back from this crisis, we need to bring everybody along. It's been my life's work to combat systemic inequities in our health care system, and as COVID-19 Equity Task Force Chair, I’ll champion the changes we need for equitable recovery in our hardest-hit communities.
Yesterday the world lost a shining light, much too soon. @marjoriesue’s life was marked by tragedy – widowed early with two young children, then metastatic cancer – but she radiated joy and empathy and was an astonishingly gifted writer. In memoriam, some of my favorite pieces:
