I dont know what can explain the wealth inequality but I don't think that is a symptom of a truly free market Econ. #donowincome @AHA_Lev

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

I don't know bc while some people get a lot of help from the rest of the country, others get no help. @AHA_Lev #donowincome

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

Income inequality is a problem bc not all people get treated equally. @KQEDedspace #DoNowIncome

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@AHA_lolwut do you think it has something to do with who can afford it?

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@AHA_NOAH but how to people get addicted in the first place?

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@AHA_Lev #addiction cause of addiction: peer pressure, genetics, boredom. http://t.co/IcHjJw4rSl

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@AHA_Lev #addiction I think the most pressing issue is addiction to stimulants http://t.co/0dfAtY8Zhi

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@KQEDedspace #DoNowPills I guess the only real way to limit prescription pill use would be to eliminate the idea that they are safer

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@KQEDedspace #DoNowPills I don't see addiction to prescription meds where I live. If it's happening it's very secretive

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@KQEDedspace #DoNowPills addiction to prescription pills is higher is some areas bc people have money to afford it & they think it's "safer"

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@AHA_makaykin @AHA_Lev but is that really feasible?

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

Need to make a long term plan to deal with crime http://t.co/Mm5TvaaoGO. @AHA_Lev #DoNowCrime #Oakland

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

Even though poverty rate is average..it's poor public safety that's the issue http://t.co/XLRglbiBRh @AHA_Lev #DoNowCrime #Oakland

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

I think what makes those cities more dangerous is that they are poor communities. @AHA_Lev #DoNowCrime #Oakland

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

I don't think I really have a crime problem in my community but I haven't seen an increase. #DoNowCrime @KQEDedspace

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

Has to do w/ economic disparities and desperation for money. Another contributing factor is the education level. #DoNowCrime @KQEDedspace

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

Some cities have improved crime rates because they have improved the poverty and education level @KQEDedspace #DoNowCrime

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@AHA_Lev maybe it's because then the jury would feel guilty for them and therefore aquit the defendent?

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

It is illegal to cry on the stand in LA. #CA #looneylaws @AHA_Lev

[Gabi Pardee @AHA_gabi]

@Victor_Morrow @KQEDedspace What about other very violent crimes? Rape? attempted murder?
