We brought #HIV activists from across the country to demonstrate in Olathe, KS at the office of U.S. Sen. @JerryMoran (R-KS). Senator Moran has joined a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators known as the “Gang of Six” who are working to “reform” #340B - a program that benefits rural and low-income communities. The demonstration urges the Senator to ignore the demands of @PhRMA and defend the 340B Drug Pricing Program which is vital to the healthcare safety net in his home state and across the country. #Let340B #Defend340B

Her life has shaped the lives of thousands of individuals across the globe, and her legacy will continue to be a shining example of servant-leadership, for many generations to come. Our heartfelt prayers are with the Farris and King families during this time.
The Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLACC) powered by AHF is saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Christine King Farris. We join all across this country in reflecting on her selfless service to humanity as a devout educator and agent for change.
Women account for nearly 1 in 5 new HIV diagnoses across the country. @AIDSHealthcare hosted a virtual conference on March 9 in recognition of National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day to address the rising impact of HIV on women. 👇https://t.co/aqwMPrKdXg @EBONY
BLACC focuses on the elevation and empowerment of Black Americans and addresses the social justice and public health issues impacting them. Racism is a public health issue, and BLACC calls on the FL Department of Education and the College Board to rebuke these racist actions.
The Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition, Florida Chapter is appalled that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is prohibiting high school students from being availed the knowledge of the impact of racism on Black Americans.
Black Americans have made invaluable contributions to this country. Rejecting African American studies, stating that it “lacks educational value”, is racist at its core and disregards over 3 million Black Americans in FL that contribute to its economic and cultural vitality.
Blacc expresses its deepest condolences to Yolanda Owens' family and the @iwifresh team. You all are in our thoughts and prayers along with the community Yolanda cultivated in Atlanta. She will be greatly missed, and her legacy will live on.
This is a huge accomplishment and a step in the right direction for true change to be enacted within our city of angels. We look forward to new policy implementations by the mayor-elect, the most important being proactively addressing the ongoing homeless crisis the city faces.
The Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition and Spark extend our congratulations to Karen Bass! Ms. Bass is not only the new mayor-elect for the city of Los Angeles but the first woman elected to this position.
iHeart leadership's delayed response in addressing Lauter's offensive actions, calls for iHeart President and CEO Bob Pittman to go beyond Lauter's release but must ensure the entire company is rid of its acceptance of discrimination. Discrimination of any kind must be addressed!
The Atlanta chapters of the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLACC) and our organizational partner, Spark, created to empower all women, are appalled by the racist and sexist remarks and actions made by iHeart Atlanta president Drew Lauter.
It is this stigmatization and discrimination that we combat each and every day! We call for the City of Los Angeles to do a full investigation on this situation and the impact their racial animus may have had on their decisions that may have negatively impacted Angelenos.
Created to elevate and empower the lives of Black and Brown Angelenos, the L.A. chapter of the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLACC) and Latino Outreach and Understanding Division (LOUD) are appalled by the racist and derogatory comments from L.A. City Council leaders.
Los Angeles is a community that celebrates its diverse constituency, which these individuals were elected to represent and serve. This overt racism has no place in political discourse.
