When they want to beat up and drag students on the streets, it takes Modi and Amit Shah’s police two seconds flat thousands of cops were deployed instantly with lathis, water cannons, tear gas and pallet guns ready.

But when 40 or 50 kids are trapped under tons of broken concrete, fallen pillars, and debris at South Campus?

Not a single cop was on site. A single JCB took over 2 to 3 hours just to show up,
while NSUI President and volunteers were literally digging through broken concrete with their bare hands to pull students out alive.

And after all the damage was done, Rekha Gupta ji arrives with her massive lashkar and heavy security cover just to inspect the site for photo ops.

Who is answerable for this tragedy?

It is YOU who is answerable. It is your administration that enables illegal structural modifications, turns a blind eye to unchecked building safety violations in student hubs like Satya Niketan, and protects the PG mafia running these death traps.

Just a day ago, PM Modi was at DU’s SRCC for a carefully staged spectacle, celebrating the university and speaking of its students. Today, at Satya Niketan in South Campus, DU students are trapped under the rubble of an unsafe PG building.

If the PM truly considers himself a DU student, perhaps he should ask why building safety audits failed the very students who need the Government’s protection most.

खबर मिलते ही सबसे पहले NSUI के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष विनोद जाखड़ पहुंचे और बचाव कार्य में जुट गए ,घंटों बाद ABVP के गुंडे पहुंच कर बचाव कार्य न करके NSUI के कार्यकर्ताओं से ही भिड़ गए।

सोचिए, ऐसा क्या गुनाह किया था इन बच्चों ने कि इन्हें गोली मार दी गई?

इन्होंने सरकार से सिर्फ़ तीन चीज़ें माँगी थीं - शिक्षा, रोज़गार, और जवाबदेही।

एक छात्र के पैर की हड्डी AK 47 की गोली से टूट गई। सेना में जाकर देश की सेवा करने का उसका सपना भी उसी के साथ चला गया। दो और छात्रों के कंधों को गोली चीरती हुई निकल गई।

ये अपराधी नहीं थे। ये ग़रीब घरों के वो बच्चे थे जो अपने परिवार के सपने लेकर पढ़ने निकले थे - किसी को अच्छी नौकरी चाहिए थी, किसी को अपने घर के हालात बदलने थे।

गोली के घाव भर जाएंगे - पर जो डर इन बच्चों के भीतर बैठ गया है, उसका इलाज किस अस्पताल में होता है?

प्रधानमंत्री जी, मुख्यमंत्री जी - इनकी टूटी हड्डी तो जुड़ जाएगी। क्या इनका टूटा हुआ सपना आप लौटा सकते हैं?

When @zoo_bear was arrested by Delhi Police in 2022 based on a manufactured complaint, court had ordered 4 days of remand and he was kept in IFSO office in Sector 16 in Dwarka during the remand period. I would go see him from a distance everyday because he was allowed to meet the lawyer everyday, and I would go along, but i wasn't allowed to speak with him. Once he was going to be taken for a health checkup (as part of regular procedure), which would mean he would have to be put into a police van and taken to the hospital. I was present there at that point in time and saw a lone camera person standing outside the gate. I was intrigued as to how does this media person know that Zubair's going to be taken for a checkup. I asked him which media organisation he's from, and it of course turned out to be ANI. Essentially Delhi Police had informed ANI that the camera person should be there so that the images can be shown widely on social media. Thankfully, that case didn't go the Umar Khalid way and he eventually got bail in 23 days. In those days, he was shuttled between different towns of UP and Delhi and the ANI camera followed him everywhere. Today, Swatantra Bhardwaj has been sent to police remand for an actual crime, but ANI has no photos to show.

सहारनपुर कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में 1911 में बनी मस्जिद को तोड़े जाने की खबर बेहद दुखद और शर्मनाक है।

नफरत और विभाजन की राजनीति से समाज मजबूत नहीं होता, बल्कि सामाजिक सौहार्द और भाईचारा कमजोर होता है।

कांग्रेस पार्टी स्पष्ट रूप से मानती है कि उत्तर प्रदेश में हर धर्म, हर समुदाय और हर नागरिक के साथ न्याय होना चाहिए।

भाजपा सरकार को यह समझना होगा कि बुलडोज़र से धार्मिक इमारतें तोड़ी जा सकती हैं, लेकिन लोकतंत्र की आवाज़ और जनता के अधिकारों को नहीं दबाया जा सकता।

उत्तर प्रदेश भाईचारे, न्याय और सामाजिक सौहार्द की धरती है। इसे नफरत और विभाजन की राजनीति का अखाड़ा नहीं बनने दिया जा सकता।
