Occupational therapy is a crucial part of our #AHPfamily, playing a vital role in health, social care and society. It enables people to manage their health and care needs and do the occupations that they want, need and like to do. #OTWeek24 https://t.co/Cit9grb7GM
The sessions showcase the power of occupational therapy, highlighting the professions unique contributions to improving people's lives across a wide range of services, teams and projects.
Delighted to be kicking off #OTweek24 today with the launch of the AHP Skills to Build Occupational Therapy Take-Over. We have sessions lined up throughout November which are a collaboration between occupational therapists across the The Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System.
Today, we celebrate the dedication, expertise & impact of our Allied Health Professional (AHP) colleagues. Our AHP's play a vital role in delivering outstanding care & improving the lives of those we serve. A huge thank you to all #TeamNottsHC AHP colleagues!๐ ๐
Rachael was nominated for her work with a digital architect to design and build a new way of capturing and recording student placement data, which will lead to more efficient use of the @AHPPLEFNottsHC time and improved reliability and communication. Good luck for the awards ๐
Our shortlisted nominee in the #AHPEducator of the Year at the #AHPAppreciationAwards is Carol Elmer, who has made a longstanding and amazing contribution to delivering high quality student placements in large numbers over many years. Congratulations Carol! #AHPsDay
Carol has fostered excellent relationships with several local universities, working closely with them to set up and allocate more than 100 Speech and Language Therapy placements each year within the Children's service. Carol is fantastic at working through processes! #AHPsDay
