BEHIND THE SONG - MELANCHOLY SUN

Written at the start of the year, Melancholy Sun was one of the first steps into the newest sound of Achilles Heel. Suffering from what we like to call ‘gray days’, being stuck in a depressive loop of writing.

The song was written over six months with various changes occurring each play through. The chorus originally was completely different, second verse was even rewritten on the train to the studio!
