“The fact that life has no meaning is a reason to live - moreover, the only one”
Overcome with joy to win ‘Best Imagined Sound’ Award 2021
Thank you @sound_awards@natpoetrylib @theradiophonic
The competition was incredible. I chose a subject that is difficult and often overshadowed, it means a lot to me that poetry and sound can illuminate it 🙏⚡️
Great to see we've got a book on The Guardian's best recent poetry round up. We were delighted to publish Mind's Eye by Carol Rumens. Also good to see an occasional indie press featured on the monthly roundup, breaking up the hegemony of major publishers.

According to my photo library, I stopped photographing bottles of natural wine and distorted images of my friends in bars in early ‘21 - which confirms I have been sober for over three years.
Now all I photograph is nature and things that oscillate my conscious reality ☺️
In a moment of synchronicity I walked into a recently opened bookstore. After the owner of ‘super time books’ recognised my northern accent she recommended @kimmoorepoet whom I was briefly taught by @McrWritingSchl I left buzzing and also part of new poetry workshop group 🙌☺️✨
So great to still see the @VervePoetryPres Eighty Four anthology (curated by @HelenCalcutt) on grief and suicide on the shelves of @WaterstonesMCR. And next to David Cain! The most essential poetry anthology I have read and been fortunate enough to be a part of 🙏
Thrilled to announce my forthcoming second poetry collection, The Blue Cocktail, to be published by The Gallery Press in Oct and launched in Ireland in late September. This edition features a glorious cover 'Voyager 6' (2011), oil on aluminium panel, by Irish artist Chloe Early.
@JTaylorTrash Very kind of you to say. Thank you for writing one of the most seminal books of this century. An inspiration that is still unfolding in the present
Having a spectacular moment, sat on a park bench reading @JTaylorTrash’s C+nto & other poems, being just so very grateful that this powerful, imagistic hybrid book exists. Grateful that contemporary poets and contemporary poetry exists. 🙏
