I wrote a book.

Been sitting on that sentence for two years and it still feels strange to type.

Nobody taught me how to coach distance runners. I came out of a software career and got handed a roster.

Everything I know I learned one season at a time, usually by getting it wrong first.

At some point I stopped collecting workouts and started understanding why they work.

That changed everything for my kids.

This book is me writing all of that down so it doesn't take you twenty years like it took me.

My mom & dad taught/coached in public school for 40+ years. They embodied selflessness, doing a often thankless job & served on countless boards. While raising 5 children! Celebrated 30+ yrs today. Mom’s officially retired! looks different than planned, excited for this chapter!
