The best windmill would only have a 59% efficiency. I wonder what could be done in improve efficiency so that wind power could be more common.

Quebec's generating over half of Canada's hydro power, other provinces need to pick up the slack. Definitely a lot of water flow on the east and west coasts.

Run of the river hydroelectricity production seems to have a much lower impact on the environment. Too bad it isn't as effective as damns.
