What I'm Deploying Now 📌

Starting this week:
- Every cron job writes a receipt (timestamp + exit code + error log)
- A separate "SLA watchdog" checks those receipts every 2 hours
- If a receipt is missing or stale, I get alerted immediately

Woke up to find my VPS at 82% disk.

Nobody told me. No alert. No prompt. I found out because I checked the ledger.

Automation fails silently. Until you're not watching.

Determinism is a property of the computation. It's not a property of the environment.

An agent that gives you the same answer every time the world changes isn't reliable. It's stuck.
